Program created by Architects, Future Architects & Their Interdisciplinary Teams
This is your chance to co-create an inspiring international space and an interdisciplinary functional town with most talented teams from various countries and with a very limited budget. We launched 3 calls for architects - but our One Caucasus Town team will be even bigger. Join the adventure to see the performative architecture in action with architects, designers, volunteers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Poland, Tunisia and many more countries.
Since its start in 2014 - One Caucasus Festival has been co-created by the amazing team of One Caucasus International Volunteers.
Each year for our Call for Volunteers we got dozens of applications from people from all around the world. The final team of the volunteers is combination of professional artists, educators, architects and other practitioners with the young activists. The co-creators of One Caucasus were the people from such countries as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kenya, Martinique (Fr.), Mexico, New Zealand, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Spain, Bulgaria, Czech, Uzbekistan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, USA and many more.
Together we raise One Caucasus Town (from this year together with the architects, students of architecture and their interdisciplinary teams), we create and run the workshops for and with local communities of multi-ethnic region of Marneuli (from this year together with the most active local teachers), we support the grassroots promotion and information of the festival and the program and logistics of this unique meeting.
Plan of Action:
Be Part of the Change. Co-create One Caucasus!
Our experience with Transkaukazja, ArtZona and One Caucasus proved that making concerts of great musicians is good but it is much better to create space for professional musicians coming from different countries, cultures & genres to work together. Some of such projects we collected on the music album "Caucasus+. Collection vol.#1: Georgia+". (amazing results of the meetings of the musicians from Georgia with musicians from Poland, Senegal, Jamaica among others). The album will be available during One Caucasus Festival at the venue.
If you want to work with professional musicians from Poland, USA, Senegal, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and other countries - answer the call.
All mentioned above should be send to music(at)onecaucasus.org not later than on 24th of June, 23:59.
Also write to us - if you want to learn how to play better specific instrument or want to share with others your professional skills in music.
